ava grace mahan

Ava Mahan is an actor, singer, and dancer based in New York City, the greatest city in the world! Raised in South Florida, Ava traded her sunglasses for scarves to attend Marymount Manhattan College where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in May 2024.
Highlights of Ava's recent performances include playing Ermengarde in HELLO, DOLLY with JWM: A Theatrical Company, along with a staged reading of Ryan Scott Oliver's TOMORROW, THE ISLAND DIES directed by Broadway's Jason Gotay. Ava was also seen on stage in Marymount Manhattan College's MainStage production of CARRIE: THE MUSICAL, playing Margaret White under the direction of Broadway's Michael Mendez. Other select credits include FOOTLOOSE (Ethel McCormack) at Prescott Park Arts Festival, GAVROCHE: WORLD PREMIERE (Madame Thenardier), and GUYS AND DOLLS (Adelaide).
Ava's artistic point of view stems from a place of joy and individuality, highlighting human connection and the beauty of authentic representation on stage. Paralleling her personality, Ava loves to play larger than life characters with out-of-the-box points of view and ways of life. Outside of musical theatre, you can find Ava crocheting, listening to Joni Mitchell, cooking, or collecting another small trinket for her shelves.
